Reiki Level One
First degree students learn to do Reiki on themselves and their loved ones through a simple, hands-on sequence.
I have always held dear the notion that this lineage of Reiki that I have received from you is a sacred treasure. When someone asks me about learning Reiki, I always refer them to you. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful teacher and mentor.
Reiki is very important in my life. I can hardly remember what it was like to not have it. Allie Thompson

Reiki Level Two
Second degree asks for a deeper commitment from the Reiki student and teaches three symbols: one to access second degree, one for mental-emotional balancing and one for sending distant treatment. Second degree requires a full year of practice with First degree Reiki to fully experience the benefits that were gained in the first training. A First degree class audit with Amy is also required to review the necessary details for moving into the next level of training.

Amy, I’m SO excited. Tonight I was feeling badly about a crisis a client of mine was in and I realized I could send Reiki to the situation (which I did). Shortly after, the client called back to say everything had “miraculously” turned around back to where things were before the crisis! I’m amazed and thrilled! Thanks for leading me to this wonderful practice…”

Reiki Level Three
Third level is a lifetime commitment to using Reiki in Mastery and is only for those who feel a special calling. Contact Amy for more information.
Reiki Practice

On a regular basis, we gather at the Sugi Health office to practice our Reiki together. We are a friendly and committed community who enjoy welcoming newcomers under our Reiki hands. If you have any level of Reiki training, from any lineage, you are invited to join us in supporting each other through the practice of Reiki. For current dates, see the Calendar page.
Reiki Mentoring Program
with Reiki Master, Amy Erez
This is a program for second degree students and masters who want to delve deeply into the experience of living in the stream of Reiki.
Click on the link above for complete information on this wonderful program.
Deepening Reiki
This course is offered a few times a year for second degree students and masters. Each time we explore the myriad aspects of using the tools provided during second degree training. Distant treatment is the primary focus with exploration of all the symbols and their possible uses. Over many meetings we have found this experience to create a profound deepening of life with Reiki. This 3 hour course is $45. For current dates, see the Calendar page.

The Deepening Reiki Class delves into the many ways that Reiki can improve your life. You never know what will happen. Each class is different, and it seems that every person in the group benefits from it. It goes by way too fast. Gloria Zema
“Every time I participate in a Deepening Reiki Class, I have a new appreciation for Amy’s skill in teaching us how to take our relationship with Reiki to a new level of awareness within ourselves. I always come away with a new insight and a renewed relationship with Reiki.” Kelli Sage
Reiki Retreat
You are invited to a one-day Reiki retreat! The oral tradition of Reiki encompasses both listening to stories from the Masters and being in the energy itself. We will do both – through a video of Masters initiated and trained by Hawayo Takata (Phyllis Lei Furumoto, Paul Mitchell, Fran Brown, Wanja Twan and Rick Bockner) and through hands-on treatments.

*This series is intended for first and second degree Reiki students and
Masters who want to learn more about the lineage of Usui Shiki Ryoho.
We will have retreats twice a year in March and November; new video or audio recordings will be presented and discussed each time. For current dates, see the Calendar page.

Amy Erez has been practicing Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho since 1987. Her mastery training began with a deep personal calling. Her commitment to a daily Reiki practice and regular attendance at her teacher’s classes resulted in a profound change in Amy’s experience of life. After four years of intensive Reiki training, Amy was initiated as a Reiki Master by Susan Mitchell, Fifth- generation Reiki Master and student of Grandmasters Hawayo Takata and Phyllis Lei Furumoto. Amy has studied extensively with Phyllis Lei Furumoto and Paul David Mitchell, the Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho Head of Discipline.
Amy is a wonderful teacher with an obvious passion for Reiki and a genuine love for teaching it. Her years of teaching Reiki show in her ability to take an esoteric subject and transmit/teach it in such a down-to-earth fashion that it is easy to understand and absorb. My long wait for Reiki instruction resulted in finding an excellent Reiki instructor in Amy Erez.” Carol Atkinson, Yoga Teacher
As a Sixth-generation Master, Amy continues to carry the tradition of Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho into her classes. She teaches the three traditional levels of Reiki as brought to America by Mrs. Takata in the early 1970’s. Amy’s emphasis is on holding Reiki from a sacred space and supporting her students in achieving the most profound, life-changing experiences possible through the practice of Reiki.
