Organize a Workshop
Would you like to organize a group for a specific workshop? I would be happy to make arrangements with you to host your friends or colleagues in exploring the transformational processes that I offer. Workshops can be held at my Carmichael location, at your place (depending on the distance) or online for select workshops.
Some of the workshops available are:
Seasonal Self-Care Parties
featuring Tools for Healthy Living
2-3 hours, 4 times a year
Every season has a different rhythm and energetic quality that reflects the flow of nature. These gatherings are designed to provide a variety of self-care tools for healthy living. Participants will be asked ahead of time to inform Amy of their specific situations. Then, she will design the program and lead the participants through a series of activities to address the expressed needs.
Amy teaches simple and effective tools that provide immediate relief. Emphasis is on an understanding of the connection between the body’s discomforts and the emotional/spiritual perspectives underneath the surface. Some of the tools she offers are self-help acupressure, tai chi gong, self-awareness exercises, exploring the relationship to food, and spiritual perspectives.
Healing with Flowers
Plants are an invaluable part of the relationship between humanity and the natural world. For centuries, we have accessed the benefits of plant medicine to bring healing to human experience. Whether healing of the body or the soul, our interdependence with nature is always there to support us.
Flowers are an especially potent part of the plant. They hold the essence of life within, literally hosting the development of seeds that allow life and growth to continue.
Flower Essences (not essential oils) were developed by Dr. Edward Bach, physician and homeopath, during the 1930’s. They are prepared by placing the flowers in spring water and allowing the sun to extract the essence. Then, the plant matter is disposed of and the essence water preserved. Flower essences are liquid extracts used to address profound issues of emotional well-being, soul development, and mind-body health.
In this workshop, we explore the ways in which flower essences can benefit us. Deep inquiry into ourselves helps to identify what flowers will best support us through the seasons of life.
Breaking Free of Family Patterns
In this program, you will uncover the belief systems that mold your life, choose consciously the beliefs you want to maintain or adopt, and finally, find peace with yourself. Discover the unexpected connections between the common world view and the unconsciously enforced familial, social and cultural influences that shape life through the generations. These perspectives are continually reinforced in education, medical, and work environments for years.
In recognizing the familial patterns that were strengthened over many generations, clarity surfaces. This clarity allows us to break free from the family patterns that have run our lives. Abundant insight and the opportunity to choose new perspectives and behaviors appear. As a result, personal empowerment, peace and healing will be yours.
Reclaiming the Center
It’s time to heal. Let’s get together in a safe space and share our experiences of the last few years. Conflicting information kept us confused and uncertain. Some chose to follow the mainstream narrative. Others chose to listen to other resources and make different conclusions. Lines were drawn and battles ensued.
The extreme responses to Covid blatantly showed the changes that have been happening for many years on a global scale. What was hidden is now being revealed. “What is the reality?” we ask. It looks different through our various lenses. So, look more closely for yourself.
What is your story? How have you been affected by the changes in the past few years?
Did you abandon or struggle to maintain centering practices due to an increase in isolation or grief from the loss of control over your life?
Have you endured loss of friendships and family relationships; perhaps suffered from loss of income?
Has your physical health, spiritual/emotional wellbeing and ability to cope been impacted?
As we explore our own reactions to this bizaare situation, we can relieve ourselves of the unnecessary burdens we have been carrying. With self-acknowledgement we can reclaim the center. In Reclaiming the Center, we discover the gains that have been slowly making themselves known. What have you gained in your life through this journey?
Being with others as we mutually explore our inner worlds has profound benefits. Please join Amy in this exploration within a respectful, open-hearted community.
